President Yoshikawa stated as follows.

At the ACUNS` annual meeting in June, the Kyoto Peacebuilding Center (KPC) organized a lecture on Japanese painting and a stage performance of Kyogen, a traditional Japanese play, to pray for a good harvest. Through these activities, it was meaningful for KPC to have people from ACUNS member countries feel the desire for peace rooted in Japanese culture. KPC will actively engage in projects to build a peaceful society through the arts, which is the founding principle of our university, by holding an international student summit on peacebuilding and the

arts in the near future, utilizing the network of art universities in Asia.
