At the Kyoto Peacebuilding Center council meeting, Kyoto University of the Arts President Sakiko Yoshikawa said that 2023 would be the year when the university had finally overcome the coronavirus pandemic and regained its composure, and classrooms have become able to hold face-to-face classes and crafts, returning to their original vibrancy. She also said that international exchanges with overseas partner schools had gradually resumed, and she has come to realize that the origin of international exchange is face-to-face dialogue.
