NORIKUNI Masahide, Executive Officers and Committee Member said that this was the first time in his memory that the University has held a full-scale discussion on peacebuilding in which art was not the subject matter. It was a learning experience for both him personally and the University. It was also very helpful in continuing such a challenge in the future.

NAKAYAMA Hiroki, Professor, Kyoto University of the Arts

At the Kyoto Peacebuilding Center Council meeting held on December 19, 2023, Professor Hiroki Nakayama explained about the "30th Anniversary of Atsuhito Nakata's Death" event held at Kyoto University of Arts on April 5-6, 2023. He also spoke about the activities carried out by the Kyoto University of the Arts.

KIHARA Takaaki, Deputy Director-General

KIHARA Takaaki, Deputy Director-General, acted as general moderator. He explained about that the Academic Council on the UN System (ACUNS) would be held at the United Nations University in Tokyo in June 2024, and immediately after that, the Kyoto Peacebuilding Center would conduct an optional tour to Kyoto with JTB.
