Kyoto Peacebuilding Center, Hasegawa Juku, 4th Study Session was held and Professor Vesselin Popovski delivered a lecture（14/06/2025）

The 4th Study Session of the Hasegawa Seminar Class, the Kyoto Peacebuilding Center, was held on June 14, 2025 at Gaien Campus of Kyoto University of the Arts. Professor Vesselin Popovski, Founding Executive Director of the Centre for the Study of United Nations of Jindal Global University of India spoke about the foreign policies developed and implemented by the leaders of major countries such as the United States, China, Russia and India to protect and advance their national interests as perceived by them. He gave detailed explanations how the doctrine of the Responsibility to Protect (R2P) was developed and used for humanitarian and political purposes. He then responded to comments and questions made by the students.
