University President Sakiko Yoshikawa participated in the reception held at the United Nations University (5/12/2024)

A reception hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held at the United Nations University on 5 December 2024. The reception, which was held on the occasion of the United Nations University's Board of Directors meeting, attracted many people active in various fields. President Sakiko Yoshikawa and Chair Sukehiro Hasegawa of the Kyoto Peacebuilding Center also attended the reception and deepened their relationship with the participants. President Yoshikawa exchanged greetings with UNU Rector Tshilidzi Marwala, UNU Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability Director Shinobu Yamaguchi and other participants.

Based on the cooperation at this year's ACUNS Annual Meeting, the meeting was a valuable opportunity to reaffirm the importance of the collaboration between Kyoto University of the Arts and the United Nations University, and to look ahead to joint projects planned for the coming year, with a view to further cooperation in the future.
